Followership Training

It is never too soon to start developing new team members.  Followership training is designed to set expectations for new team members and begin their development as leaders.  Main ideas include:

–Everyone has a role in this organization.

  • What is yours?
  • How to find your role.
  • How to grow in your role and prepare for the next step.
  • What are doing to make the organization better

–To be a great leader, you first have to be a great follower

  • Every leader is a follower as well (everyone has a boss)
  • You have to know how to follow instructions so you can give them

–Trust your leadership

  • They have a different point of view and more information to consider
  • Don’t take it personally, they are NOT out to get you, there job is help organization, not you

–Know when and how to contribute your 2 cents

  • Before a decision is make, you should feel free to contribute
  • Once a decision is made, accept it and get to work to make it happen
